PEABODY — Chabad of Peabody’s Jewish Learning Institute will launch an 11-week Torah studies course beginning April 10, from 7:30-8:45 p.m. Like all of Chabad’s courses, this latest adult education offering is designed for people at all levels of Jewish knowledge.

"This course is truly novel in the way it probes the depths of classic Jewish thought to address the issues we face in contemporary Jewish life," said course instructor Rabbi Nechemia Schusterman. "I am looking forward to the great discussions that these texts will no doubt generate. The dialogue among participants is my favorite part of the class."

Some of the topics to be addressed are the Jewish perspective on realizing one’s true potential, human struggle and the power of a single action. The season will also touch upon the seasonal holidays.

Classes will be held at Chabad of Peabody, 83 Pine St. Unit E, Peabody. Interested students are welcome to attend the first session free, without obligation to continue. The course is free, but a student textbook costs $36. To enroll, call 978-977-9111 or visit
